My nephew sent me a message apparently he let his 2 year old niece* play around with his keyboard, and now Scroll Lock comes on when he presses X (big white padlock symbol on screen).

It's lasted through several reboots and shut downs as it was done last week, but he can't work it out, and I can't think of any specific program that would do it? (something that a toddler randomly pressing buttons could activate).
I'll try and get some pictures and more information out of him tomorrow but I think he's running windows 10 on an Asus branded PC.

I, and my brother in law have told him repeatedly not to let the little ones play around with his computer keyboard whilst it's on:p

*My great niece apparently, although I refuse to believe i'm old enough for that.

If there is a visual indicator on screen it is probably bundled software either an input device like Logitech or motherboard control panel and likely configured in that as well as to what toggles it for example some laptops don't have an actual scroll lock key and have software to bind it to a custom key.

Cheers, that's sort of what I'm inclined towards, but it's going to be fun tracking it down remotely:p

I may have to head down to have a look in a few days.
