Have had my q6600 overclocked for about 6 months, no problems, rock stable 3.4 ghz, 8x425, runs prime95 forever and ever no errors on any of the 4 cores, but recently a strange problem has occured..
On rebooting, the motherboard resets the overclock to standard, well 8x 266mhz, like its a failed overclock...
Mobo is a Giga P35 DS4R Rev 2.1
Ram is spot on, 1063 instead of 1066, so should be fine..
prime 95 still runs on all 4 cores no problem, if I shut down and turn on, 90% of the time it works fine...
temps fine, vcore 1.4v watercooled, 38-40 degrees underload..
anyone have any ideas? seen this before?
