Setting up a new overclock on my cpu (i5 2500k) and when I go to stress test it with prime95 or intelburn test the cpu speed changes from say 4700 to 3300 :S

I've turned off literally everything that can actually do that, so what the hell is happening? Temps are in the 50s tops

will be voltage settings mate. have you changed any of the settings in the bios voltage wise? if you can give me details i can try help :)

Yeah I've changed a few settings. It appears to be stable at 4.7ghz, but I've only tested via games and not the burntests due to the issue in the OP.

Vcore = 1.352v/1.360v
DRAM = 1.5v
VTT = 1.116v
PCH = 1.059v
PLL = 1.832v
VCCSA = 0.925v

Any ideas?

Raise your max power and current levels ;-))

No need to disable steedstep or any of the power saving features.

What bios version is that? Doesnt look like mine. (F15 here)

I've raised the current for the CPU before I started, yet disabled speedstep so turboboost etc also.

That's an old screeny on p1.0.
Latest beta I'm on now is L1.15 and it looks the same, there are no F15 bioses for this board.
