I have been handed a friends laptop which is a hi-grade 8615, i've updated the memory no problem but i wanted to install wireless on it.
The card i bought for the mini pcie slot stops the laptop from booting all together so i tried a pcmcia card in it but i've noticed that its not the right shape, the slot itself has a chunk of metal on one side so the slot is almost L shaped now.
has anyone seen this before?
