Weird problem - for me anyway

I installed my new x1800xt yesterday, have had no problem in games so far, but having a funny problem with some videos i've downloaded (WMV's), that worked fine before.

Some of them look like they've been painted by Andy Warhol, you know those portraits of Marilyn Monroe lithograph jobbies - all weird pastel colours and no definition! Any ideas?

The weird thing is that other videos, downloaded from the same source, in the same format are ok. Although it does tend to be the bigger files that are affected.

I would post a screen shot, but when i save the screen shot the image just goes blank?

hi,
yep i had this problem aswell after installing the same gfx card.
open up the options ni media player and go to the performance tab. click on advanced and look at the "video acceleration" options. i think i unticked the "use video mixing renderer" option then it was okay. worth a shot.....
