Weird problem - help needed!

A couple of weeks ago my pc started with a weird problem. Pc powers up, all fans are on full speed but get no beeps or display on my monitor. It wouldn't switch off by the power button so had to switch off by using the switch on the psu. I guessed it was either a memory or motherboard problem so bought a new Asus Sabertooth 990FX and Corsair Vengeance 8GB (CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9). However after a few days of these being installed the problem has started again.

Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing it?

Rookie here hi.

You have changed the mb and ram assuming they work then the PSU is the least reliable item - can you test? Do you have a spare? Borrow one of a mate, buy one?

You can get a PSU tester.

CPU's are usually very reliable.

Finally case switches? Can be come faulty?
