Well basically my friend had her pc reformatted but now the sound doesnt work. Ive spent hours looking for the drivers for it and i gave her some stuff to install and now rather than WMP saying theres no audio output device it plays but theres no sound.
List of things ive checked
Mute
Volume turned low
If the sound port was dead (set to 5.1 and put in the other sockets)
Speakers
Its really bugging me now.. From searching around it seems a few people have had this problem, im just not sure what to suggest?
