Hi guys,

I used to have my AGP 6800U on a DFI Lanparty 875b with a P4 3.4Ghz EE. It was OC'd to 450/1200 and worked fine. I rebuilt my system and put my 6800U on a Gigabyte K8Triton with a A64 4000+. Now if I try to run anything 3D it will freeze up and stutter within a few seconds. I underclocked to 400/1100 and everything seemed fine, but the problems crept back after a few minutes. I'm not sure what's wrong why would it work fine before and mess up now. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY HELP ME PLEASE!

Hmmm .. I unfortunately don't have another PC to try it out on. But I tried disabling fast writes to see if that would make a difference and I played Oblivion for about half an hour problem free. Though I think theres a deeper problem here. I'll give the 84.25's a try and see if there's a difference. Also thanks for the reply. :)

I was unaware of problems with the nforce chipset and fast writes, but disabling them has definitely solved my problem. Thanks to everybody who replied. :D <-- (smiley added to artificially enhance post)
