Got this the other day, worked fine I thought when I first switch it on.

Now I get some weird blue noise effect on my monitor when their is usually a black back ground. Its like when I first switch on my computer and the system is cool, nothing appears but when I start doing anything graphic intensive (2d /3d) then the blue noise effect comes on.

I've got 2 x NEC 24WMGX3 monitors running of DVI, tried both monitors (sole) and swapping the DVI cable, same effect.

I've tried reducing the DVI frequency in CC and no effect.

However when I lower the resolution, it disappears. Have not tried using the monitor for long at lower resolution.

Is my brand spanking new GPU buggered?

Run a few loops of Heaven benchmark and see how things look.

If problems continue, first try removing and reinstalling AMD drivers, then try your card within another PC if possible.

I've tried running various benchmarks and it seems like the issue comes from generating the 'warm up'

Also I've noticed the driver on my GPU-Z isn't showing what looks like everyone else

Will try and do a ATI driver uninstall and try again. Don't want to go through an RMA if i can avoid it.

Hi,

Is the problem resolved, if not try a bios update from your manufacture aswell as 12.5 amd drivers are currently In beta so it will not be long till they come out.
