A friend of mine has a cinema in his basement, yes, a cinema. 9Ft Screen and a floor to ceiling rack of different goodies.
The DVD player has its sound and video signals connected to the master amp by optical connectors.
For some reason, the DVD player has suddenly started playing films in black and white only. Now, I'm fairly ofey with Audio & Visual and setting up systems, chosing specs etc and I've not had a chance to go and have a proper look at this yet.
I'd like suggestions as to what this could be. I'm guessing that if I took round my own test TV and connected this and got colour then we could establish that the problem lay in the cabling between the screen and the units as opposed to between the DVD and the Amp / controller.
Does anyone have other suggestions as to what the problem could be?
I'm hoping its simply a case of them having pressed the AV2 button when it should be on AV1
