Hi all, hope someone can help.
Specs:
MSI z490 Tomahawk
16gb patriot viper 2 8gb sticks
10700k
650 corsair psu
1080ti
Been working fine for a couple of years but all of a sudden getting crashes in game (Only play valorant) sometimes it will exit to desktop and sometimes will freeze my pc and have to hard reset.
I tried going to bios but am unable to. Hitting delete,F8,f11 etc wont do anything, if I do try this then the pc wont start up, it powers up etc but the monitor stays in no signal mode. If I just start the pc normally it will go into windows and function normally.
I have tried restarting using uefi method but same result.
I had a spare mobo (same model) so tried that but exactly the same problem.
Tried taking 1 stick of ram out and swapping each stick
removed cmos battery.
When playing games it works fine up until the point of crashing, no artifacts etc and card runs at 80 degrees.
When I start my pc the keyboard/mouse lights come on and quickly go off then back on again, I hear a click from case and boots into windows normally.
If I try getting into bios and the problem happens I do not hear a click and the pc just hangs with no display:/
I've tried to explain it the best I can, hope someone can help as it's doing my head in now.
