Has anyone experienced this? I am having a combination of strange problems.

Firstly, I am unable to access the bios by pressing the delete key when the splash screen is up. The keyboard is working because if I press ctrl alt del it will restart the boot process.
Secondly, If I change the POST screen to display the POST screen not default full screen logo, I only get a black screen when I turn on Windows.
Thirdly, the integrated graphics do not work for some reason.

I've reset the bios settings numerous times and restored the bios from its back up too.

I also get random crashes in games. Crash to desktop rather than full lock-ups.

My powersupply, RAM, GPU, HDD are all fine so that only really leaves the motherboard and CPU, although I'm not sure what could be wrong with either.

What is strange is that the latest bios version online is F4, but the version i've got is W05, and was apparently released later...

It is a Gigabyte GA-h16m-2SPV with a Sandy Pentium CPU.
It's got my 7970 in there atm but did have a 6450 with the same problems.

I've tried various USB ports and I don't have any PS/2 keyboards to hand.

If I reset the CMOS with a jumper, it defaults to the bios, and I can navigate through the BIOS using my keyboard fine, so I don't think that is the problem.

Something just seems off...

Edit- I was looking at the wrong revision of my mobo, doh! I can get more update to versions of my bios. I'll update it now.

It doesn't blue screen, it just ctd. It's a corsair 650watt job so it should be fine...

It was running a weird bios version that wasn't listed for any revision of the motherboard (and probably explains the *competitor shop* logo that happens during post!) I updated it by forcing my way into the bios again and update from USB so hopefully it will now work fine...

It seems crazy that a shop can provide a custom bios that pretty much breaks the PC!!

edit- do OCUK do that?

Post screen now works and I can access the BIOS fine too.

Integrated graphics now work also. I bet the person I got the PC from bought the 6450 specifically because the integrated graphics didn't work!
