Weird Q6600 Temps

Hi these are my Q6600 Temps running at 3.3ghz when running prime95

77 73 59 55 = coretemp most recent

just installed CPU and tower cooler would it seem I havent put the right amount of grease on the CPU or it isnt fitted 100% right ?

G0 or B3?

The high difference between cores means the CPU isn't flat and could do with lapping and a reseat with different application of grease should help.

My guess is that it is not fitted 100& right. I have had similar issues. Its looks like you have fitted it better one side more that the other hence why 2 cores are too hot and the other 2 not has bad.

Still I would remove fan, redo grease and hopefully get a better fit. Hope that helps.

yer think you are right mate. there is a average off 12c diffrence thats not a small amount.
