Weird i know, but i've got a strange obbsession with this. Basically got around 6 grand to play with, if it has this i would buy it!

What cars have this? I know it's hard to find!

Sorry worded wrong, basically a inbuilt system that i can touch and stuff! I'm shocking at directions.

More looking to hatch backs by the way.

Seems a strange way to go about buying a car. The car could be awful but as long as it has integrated Tom Tom (which you can pick up for < £150) then it would be suitable?

Different....

My car cost me £1400 and has in built sat nav and phone with telematics, bose sound system, cd changer, 4 heated seats, dual zone climate, cruise control, sunroof, rear parking sensors, HID lights and self leveling suspension.

Do I win? :p

Telematics? You sure?

Yup has telematics in the glove box.

Vauxhall Omega 3.2 Elite as per sig.

Vauxhall didn't pay to unscramble the code for TM in this country back then, so can't use it here. Works on the continent though.

I'd recommend buying a decent car first for £5500 then getting one of the integrated double DIN sat nav systems fitted.

Sat Nav on an older car is likely to be both crap and out of date map wise.

I'm looking at the fiat punto grande, nice and cheap and looks ok to me. Cheap to insure also (21 years old) is that system easy to install and how much?

Can pick up my car (new Fiat Bravo) for under £6k now I'd have thought and it's got Bluetooth, MP3, Duel Zone Climate Control, Cruise Control, USB and Microsoft Blue&Me (talk to the car and tell it to do things like change songs etc).

No Sat Nav though, it either wasn't an option or 0 people spec'd it.

Silly way to go about buying a car though, I'd much rather find a car I like in budget then aim for the top spec one if that's what your after.

I use this system in my Bravo, I bought the car when I was 19 and it's very easy to use.

I'd get the Bravo, much better engine choice, everything comes as standard on the Dynamic trim and can get a good one for like £5k-£6k now I would have though.

Ah, in that case I'm not too sure. The radio on the Grande Punto is quite sculpted into the dash, it is a separate unit though but I'm not sure what they do in the way of 1 / 2 DIN adapters for them.

Well not only just for sat nav, if it has gadgets i'm there!

Sad i know but hey, that's me.

Our Grande Punto is top spec (Eleganza) with almost every option ticked... the "gadgets" get old after about 2 days ;)

That said I do love cruise! In fact I can't really knock someone for buying a car based on one option. I'll probably have a similar budget for my next car and one of my main criteria is that it must have cruise control :o

Fiat Punto Bravo looks nice! Looking into that now, cheers mate!

Is the 1.4 engine pretty good? Reading on the fiat grande it's not that responsive?
