I have 4 gigs worth of OCZ PC2-8500C5 1066MHz SLI-Ready Edition Dual Channel DDR2 ram, which up untill recently worked fine.
The other day when i turned my pc on nothing happend, so after turning it on and off a few times it booted up so i thought nothing more of it. But today turning my pc on it would not boot up at all, all the fans running ect but nothing else. I took the ram out and try booting with one stick and it worked fine. I added one stick at a time and it works with 3 gig but as soon as i add the 4th stick in, the pc won't boot. It doesnt seem to matter which sticks i have in, all of them seem to work fine untill i put in the 4th.
I have the timings set to 5 5 5 15 and the volts at 2.1
I am totally stumped to why this is happening after 4 gigs working fine for so long. My mobo is a p5n32 sli plus. Also using windows xp pro.
If any one knows why this is happening or can help me fix this problem i would be very greatful.
