Ok, Im getting random lockups, my PC will just lockup completely, requiring a hard reset, I've messed with most voltages and I know the CPU is stable (It's done 10 hours prime bland @ priority 9). For instance I got a lockup tonight after uninstalling drivers and rebooting and it happened as things were loading and I had started to install the Catalyst Software for my GFX. The other day It locked up as I browsed the web. These lockups seem to be pretty rare and only happens around once a week sometimes longer!, can anybody help?, what normally causes a hard lockup? no BSOD or anything?. Any suggestions appreciated, its not a massive issue but I'd rather know the cause ;)

same thing happend to me on another pc...had 1 dodgy ram stick :) took it out, problem was fixed

Blame the 2900! :p

Seriously though, checked for any odd processes running, defragged, virus scanned, adware scanned etc?

If it can prime for 10h I can't imagine it being a power, heat or memory issue.

Still getting this problem, my pc sometimes locksup on the windows login screen, there are no error messages displayed when i restart its simply a case of a total lockup. Please help me solve this :D

Have you tried running different memory configurations. I had the same problem last year and it turned out to be a faulty DIMM!

Ran MEMTEST on test 5 for 8 passes and all seemed ok, my pc has also just froze on my again someone help me get to the bottom of this its highly annoying
