Gaming at 1920x1080 on both my 4830 and 4890 SOMETIMES brings strange results, take CRYSIS, on 1920x1080 the screen either goes to the right more than it should when selecting 1080p or it goes full screen but has the top bit of the CRYSIS bar still showing.

Crysis/Dark Void/Bioshock all do this.

Latest cats, monitor is a HP2159V.

Any ideas?

check the scaling option and try moving it all the way to the right ...that should disable it.
i get borders all round when i connect my 1080p for some reason but disabling the scaling makes it fit perfect...also check to see your monitor is set to dot to dot or what ever name it uses if it has that option.

above may not work but its worth a shot if you dont sort it.

that rules out scaling options and gfx problem. Use the 'auto adjust' or similar option like in in the OSD of your monitor.

yeah its usually a fair bit of messing around but it can all be done like Temi has said in the osd of the monitor....with vga usually every resolution you use needs to be manually calibrated.
