Weird single plastic clicking noises from cpu cooler.

Hi. I have a question.
My case is Cooler Master Centurion 590.
I have 4790K stock box cooler and gpu Inno Ichill 980 ti OC 3x.
I have a weird single plastic creaking ( clicking ) noises coming from directly cpu cooler. Its only when pc is cooling down or heating up. Under load its dissapearing and its quiet.
Its very weird, because when i put load on Prime95 it doesnt click after or at start. Prime95 doesnt cause the noise.
Its always when i start to heating up my gpu by running a game. Or when quiting a game ( cooling down ). And yes i am sure its coming from cpu fan , not gpu.
My gpu have 3 fans , could be that hot air blowing from gpu to cpu making expanding CPU cooler and thats why it creaks ? Any suggestions?

Maybe one of the fan blades is catching on the heat sink when it reaches a certain speed??

It can happen if one of the blades is out of balance.

I think it is not out of balance. Because i stressed with Prime95 cpu and it doesnt tick \click. ( after or before ) Cpu is here stressed . Only i can heard single plastic clicking noises after ( cooling down ) or at starting games ( heating up ). Any suggestions?

If it was really of out balance then on prime95 it will start clicking\ticking, but it doesnt.

Wait.. what? Didn't you already have a thread asking the same thing?

This is at least the third thread asking about weird noises from your machine.

Now, I'm completely prepared to believe you are a troll, after I held off so long. Why do you waste your time?

I started looking up the user name, and every forum says the same thing... he doesn't listen, multiple posts lol.

You should run Prime95 and Furmark together for 72 hours, this should stop those noises coming from your PC :D

The thing between the CPU and the fan is the heatsink. So called because it is designed to absorb heat from the CPU, for the fan to then blow air over it to remove the heat. As such, when the CPU is under stress, the heatsink will heat up, and when the stress is removed, it will then cool down.

The heatsink is metal, and when metal heats or cools it expands or contracts, which produces noise.

Now, please - stop posting the same stuff in thread after thread, ignoring all the answers people provide and wasting everyone's time? Cheers.

Bloody hell, every thread of his is about something being wrong or faulty with his hardware.

The way he is with pcs reminds me of a hypochondriac who always thinks there's something wrong and is at the doctor surgery everyday.

Where did you purchase your parts from? I feel sorry for the retailer lol. I can imagine you calling them everyday asking about all your noises etc

WHY IS MY HARD DRIVE SO LOUD???

That's it ! Maybe you've just identified a new illness !!

There is munchausen's where it's the person themselves always trying get medical attention, munchausen's by proxy where the person uses a dependent such as a child or someone they care for to get medical attention. Now we have munchausen's by computer !!! "Please help, my computer is ill again" :D

Thank you for explanation. I am really patient now. :) Thx ;)

Confused Stu but explain me this. Why heatsink on cpu its not ticking before ( heating up ) and after ( cooling down ) using Prime95? ( 100% load )

Its only ticking after or at starting games. Can you explain me this?

Could be that ,hot air blowing from gpu to cpu making expanding CPU heatsink and thats why it ticks\pops?
