Just installed my new gigabyte P43 mobo and a new 4830 sapphirre graphics card. Everything went fine and the system was quiet when i had it laid on its side (its an akasa zen case). As soon as I turn it up right the graphics card makes a very weird noise, almost like a buzzing capacitor. If i put my PC on its side the noise disappears again.
I'm thinking it may be the fan. I cant keep the PC on its side all the time! Any suggestions to what it might be? I've checked all the connections and made sure everything is secure but the sound is still there. I think if it is the fan then it may not last long, so would it be worth persueing an RMA?
