Hi
Well had a rotavator for several years and has never let me down, always started 1-2 pulls.
Last week was using it and it just died....would start whatever i did.
Changed petrol, plug all the normal things, nothing.
Thought i would take off the black plastic housing and spotted the ignition coil green/yellow wire (earth??) is not connected to anything at all, its basically been stripped back from the manufacture but not attached to anything. I have had it from new and 1st time taking the lid off.
I have rung einhell helpline who actually said unable to help!!
Anybody know where the wire goes to ???

thank you in advance

Unscrew the spark plug (check bottom of the plug is wet also) and reconnect it to the lead.
Pull the pull cord a few times, do you see a spark?
If no spark then its eletrical, if you do see a spark then its probably fuel supply, was the plug wet? if not then deffo a fuel supply problem

right, the rotavator works, the loose wire is the ground for the coil, the engine only cuts out when i touch the wire to the main body (ground) but i dont know where to connect it to that grounded , as when i do it doesnt start.
I need to find where i can connect it to (on the body) that when i push the choke/throttle lever it will cut out when switch is off......have tried several places but it all looks metal touching each other...
