weird temp issue

on monday night i done a stop of dusting
took all my components out and dusted them down, now before i done this my 5870's idle were hitting 27top 24 bottom, now they are hitting 39 top 29 bottom.
what could be causing this ? i have also moved the cards round, what was the bottom is no the top on vise versa
