Weird TSOHOST email problem!

Hi all,

Before anyone moans, i've emailed TSOHOST about this issue, but as of yet (10 days later) have had no reply.

Basically, I have a domain with TSOHOST (for the purposes of this board its www.mydomain.org).

Attached to this I have email facilities, and at present I have two accounts.

[email protected] and [email protected]

I have manually set up these accounts using MS Outlook 2003 following the set up details from TSOHOST and notice that one of the accounts has the POP and SMTP mail server as ‘mail.mydomain.org’ and the other has it has ‘mail.mydomain.tsohost.org’. The email address that uses ‘mail.mydomain.org’ can not receive an answer from either mail server, yet if I change it to mail.mydomain.tsohost.org’ it works. Outlook sends a test message to both these accounts and they work.

HOWEVER :rolleyes:

I do not receive email to either of these addresses either through Outlook or CPanel. I tested them both from a separate btinternet email address and I keep receiving a MAILER DAEMON DELIVEY FAILURE NOTICE.

The wierd thing....the site is a forum based site and obviously people can contact the [email protected] email through the site. If they do this, then I receive the email at CPanel with no problems!!

What am I doing wrong!?
 
looks as though uve not made any MX records for your domain....

Or they have not propagated around dns servers ... or they are misconfigured
