Just had a weird problem with our internet here.

Was having massive latency problems while on games and just basically ragequit what i was doing to check out what was going wrong.

I realised that the latency was due to something uploading on our network so i checked my Mother's computer which is a 2.4Ghz 17", whacked dashboard on and checked iStat, low and behold there was a massive 100-300kb/s upload going on. This is with no program open on the computer, at all!

Thought this was very strange and went back to my own computer and things were still going strange...I checked my iStat and it was fine, no upload whatsoever.

Then i checked my old MacBook Pro 2.33Ghz 17" and again the same 100-300kb/s upload was going on with no programs open at all. Thought this was very strange and instantly shut the computer down and now it's stopped.

What could this upload be on these old 17" MacBook Pro's? Just a bit weird and gets me a bit worried.

Just installed that software on the troublesome computers and found one problem so far.

On my old MacBook Pro which my other half is using, her mail while not showing any outgoing/incoming in the bottom left hand corner has a massive gmail outgoing upload going on. The inbox for one of her accounts has the spinning icon next to the name like it's receiving data but there is an upload going on. What could this be?

Just waiting for my mothers computer to start going funny again.
