Weird USB disconnect/reconnect sound...

I have this problem where I can hear the USB device disconnect/reconnect sound played randomly. When I'm playing games it causes the games to lag at times when the sound is played which is really frustrating.

Is there any way to pin point which USB device is causing this maybe with a program?

Check your event log.

There are so many sections in even log i wouldn't know where to look. Do you know the path?

Event Viewer, Windows Logs, System (sort by date/time) should be at the top when you hear the disconnect sound.

Thanks, i found a software that was perfect. It logs what is connected and disconnected. It was my usb headphones!

Glad you got this sorted, had a similar problem a few months back, I ended up just disconnecting everything from my pc and trying everything in individually until I found the culprit, cant remember what it was though but do know I got it sorted

Thanks. If i didn't find that software, that method would have been my last resort.
