Ok, I'm getting worried, I've got some weird vertical lines running down my display, as per the image:

It's a 19" Iiyama PLE1900WS fed from an ATi 5850 via vga cable (no spare one to rule this out, unfortunately).
The lines are spaced approximately 4cm apart.
They are present on the desktop and games, but haven't noticed them on BIOS/Windows loading screens.

Can anyone shed any light as to what's going on?
And should I be saving now for a replacement monitor?:(

Any feedback appreciated!

I don't have access to another screen or cable until Tuesday at the earliest.:(
There are no lines when I output to our TV, but that's via HDMI.

Nope, standard clocks.
I'll be able to hook up a laptop to the monitor, but not until tomorrow.

And I've just had the lecture from my other half about how I've spent far too much money on this computer already!!:p

ATI problem mate, lots of issues around the net with the 5800 series, even on there forums. ATI have posted a hotfix for this specific condition, you'll have to find it though

Never heard of an issue like that related with monitors ever... if the hotfix doesn't work, it could be down noise, try a different VGA cable and make sure its tightly connected, also try to not get the cable too close to anything that could produce noise.
