Well weird this one.
Right, last night i tried to install Steam, but i kept getting an installer not working properly error, so couldn't, and also when trying to sign in/out of Messenger, if i didn't have a DVD in me drive, i kept getting a msnmessgr.exe error box coming up in the middle of the screen saying, no disk in drive D: (me DVD drive), cancel, try again etc...., so i had to keep hammering cancel untill it either signed in/out.
Anyway, done a reinstall of it today to see if that would fix it, first off tried Steam, installer worked fine, so thought great were sorted, so downloaded and installed messenger, and its doing the same as above, if i dont have a disc in me drive, i got to keep hammering cancel on the error box to get signed in/out, yet if i leave a disc in, its fine.
Only difference from the reinstall is, the installer still works fine, so i can install Steam etc.... still, so just got the weird messenger prob.
Never had any of these problems at all when i first installed the Win 7 though.
