Weird Windows start up

I'm not sure what it is but recently I need to reboot several times to log onto windows. The PC will get past the splash screen and then it will just go black and wont do anything else, i will then need to restart the machine an on the 2nd or 3rd attempt it will get onto the log on screen.

This is getting really annoying, any ideas?

Hmm OK cheers may run memtest on it overnight see what it throws up. I hope its not i dont plan to spend an money on my PC! Although saying that i did get the memory from OcUK but cant remember when it was!
