My 360 pro died yesterday, distorted graphics, then ring of death and now just says "no signal" all the time but doesn't give any red light errors. Tried 3 different cables but all the same problem... any ideas? It's nearly 2 years old so well out of warranty.
This was compounded when today something happened with my internet. No idea what it was but at the same time my PC (cabled), my sons PC (wi-fi) and my Xbox 360 elite (cabled) all lost internet connection at same time. Nothing wrong with router or cable modem.... and it made my 360 elite turn off and give 3 red lights!
I'll also add it had only been switched on for about 5 mins at that time.
Everything was sorted with a reboot of everything but had me worried for a second, thought I'd lost both 360's in the space of 24 hours!
Also I can't think of any reason that the internet connection would make my 360 shutdown and give 3 red lights. It's been working perfectly for past 2 hours and it's not so much as skipped a beat in the last 12 months.
