Hi Peeps,

Very weird problem here... and only with one game.

Call of Duty:World at War has been working fine since I bought it off of MM here.. nothing wrong with it (Online or Single Player). Since today, I can't play it on my Xbox Live Account, it comes up with 'Disc Unreadable', just as it starts to get to the loading video

Standard you might think.. disc scratched.. but no... It only happens on the Xbox Live Account I have on there, my brothers 'offline/normal' account plays it fine.. nothing wrong. I've even tried letting it go to main menu on my brothers account and then signing in, but it comes up with it as soon I close the guide.

I've also deleted my profile (not items), and cleared the Xbox's Cache (the X,X, LB, RB, X,X trick), but still to no avail.

All other Live games work. Brother is on Fifa 09 as we speak..

Any guesses?
Cheers,

Jake

Any chance you can move the game items and saves to a different storage device then completely delete anything game related on your main storage?

Does sound an odd one :p

Well.. this is weird..

Logged into my bros account, and then installed game to HDD, logged into my account and now it works :S Bloody weird.

Hope this helps anyone else.

same thing happend to me on monday so i installed to hd and it cured it, weird!

was working fine the day before and then it just wouldnt work.. works fine now and i have been owning looks for peter faulk in free for all

I wasn't even trying to get to multiplayer part, it wouldn't even get the menu. Even if I logged in my brothers non live account, it would get to menu.. then I would sign out and sign into my live account and it would say disc unreadable instantly. Glad I sorted it though. Now I need a bigger HDD.
