Weird XBOX 36o network problem

Ive got a friend i cant connect to, he can connect to other people, i can as well, but neither of us can play each other.

Whats going wrong?

Do you mean one of you is trying to invite the other and it's not working or do you mean something else?

It was the same with Marvel, i dont seem to have problems connecting to anyone else, so id say its his problem.

We can both play our friend, but cant play each other, when he created the marvel game - i can join, but when i join it kicks him out saying he cant connect to me.

Its a mindscrambler, my ports are open, ive turned firewall off to see if its that, but its not making any odds my end.

Probablly not worth asking this, but have you accidently blocked him as a friend? or turned him off as a prefered player? you can block someone and still have them on your friends list I think... but I doubt this would make a difference to games ?

No, havent done anything like that, i doubt he has to me either.
