Weird XMP problem after adding extra memory

Hi All,

Today I added an additional 2 x 4GB dimms of exactly the same Corsair LPX memory but when I run RAMMON it shows the two new sticks as JDEC not XMP despite XMP being set in the BIOS. I've tried turning XMP to Auto and then back on to XMP but still the same result.

My mobo is a Asus Maximus VIII Hero.

Any clues as to what might be happening?

Just reset bios and then after reset boot enable xmp. Should all be fine then.

My BIOS says XMP is enabled. Perhaps its RAMMON that's reporting incorrectly?

Just set up manually then.

Set mem speed and primary timings. Should be pretty easy.
