Weird

Ok, I just moved my components to another case, with a change of motherboard to the 680i. The thing I notice is that, when the comp shuts down, it gives out a loud high pitch sound. Any ideas?

Is the sound from the speakers ?

Na mate its from inside of my system, its coming from the dvd drive area ( i think ).

Are you sure the sound is not coming from the PSU?

It just sounded like it is from the comp itself. I'm not too sure of it myself either.
What if it is from the PSU? What does it say?

Well i have had a similar issue before and it sounded like it was coming from the psu but it is still running ok now about 18 months later and it does sound like what you are describing.

ye, everything is running fine, gaming etc.. o well lol, lets not worry too much now shall we?
