Weirdest issue I've ever had

Have a 1070 and tried to play Hitman: Contracts earlier and it was pulling between 300-600 fps which sounds nice, but if I try and move 47 diagonally for example the fps flies to 1200+ and he gets stuck in weird animations yet the game itself is still running, people are moving around and doing stuff normally, even though the main dude is lagging and stuttering around like crazy. There's no Vsync option and external programs seem to make the game crash.

Does anyone have any clue? First ever case of 'my PC is too good to run this game'?

Which tools did you try? Rivatuner and NVidia inspector are the usual ones to go to when wanting to lock frames rates.

I think you can also limit the frame rate in MSI Afterburner.

I used MSI, Contracts is quite odd and doesn't even like the Steam overlay.

Ah. Did you try any of the other possible fixes from that GOG page? Forcing the game to run on one core, compatibility mode etc?

EDIT: Came back to see if you'd fixed it and I noticed this:

Had a quick look on Reddit and not sure if you're using EVGA Precision X for overclocking your GPU but:

Could be worth a try if it applies to you.

Tried them all except the single core because I couldn't find out in TM how to even access a program's affinity, tried the core method though after abit of searching and seems to have fixed it, thank you! :D

No overclock btw, G1 Gaming already has a decent one out of the factory.
