Hi, the names Vince.
I have been computing since about 1986 (hint about my age now - I was 6 then).
Things from ZX Spectrums to Commodore 16's and 64 then Amiga 600.
When I started college in 1996 I brought my first PC. Second hand from Radio Rentals!
Also had various consoles, but always prefered PC games.
I try and make PC's last as long as possible (with whatever I can upgrade getting upgraded over the years). My last PC was a Dell prebuilt and I got a good 10 years out of it.
Before that, I used to custom build.
Now I let Overclockers do the work and just spent just under £900 on one.
and just this month a few hundred on my first "gaming" monitor.
Just leaves a gaming mouse and Keyboard to go.
Now in my 40's the reaction times are not what they once were, so my games of choice are
Racing,
Siming,
Doom
Quake etc
