Welcome to the GP of....Greece?

I expect it would be part of a much larger project, to create jobs, investment into the country etc.

I can't imagine blowing that much money on an F1 track in a country where people are a bit annoyed at the imposed spending cuts is going to go down well.

Just goes to show how corrupt the country is. IF this actually happened, and that is one colossal IF, I could quite imagine it ending up like Bahrain with massive protests around it.

^ That's what I was thinking. That's probably enough to level the landscape, lay the tarmac and build the pits.

I guess this would be the first BYO chair GP.
