Hi Everyone,

I have been working on a multiplayer game during my rather limited spare time. Some of the animations are a bit off and I have to rely on bought assets at the moment as I am a one man band and can't model. But the code is all mine! I am fully aware this will become just another generic shooter with no players, but I am ok with that; This is the furthest I have ever got making an actual game, so I thought I would post a video. I will be looking to expand the play testing beyond me and a friend at some point; I want to go down the hell let loose direction of hardcore gameplay at some point, but for now it is just testing the basics and seeing how the gunplay feels etc.

Cheers!

Absolutely. Although the scope is a little limiting it is big enough to add a variety of weapons, plus there are horses (which I already have but need a little tweaking) plus trains and fixed guns, like Gatling guns, down the line. The theme is also quite fun which keeps me interested!

Don't really have anything to add but as an avid modder with some previous game development experience best of luck with it - it is incredibly rewarding/satisfying when you get stuff working.

Thanks. It is fitted round a proper job and family so time is limited but all the major logic is implemented so it is a case of adding content and finding bugs at the moment. I hope to get a server build up on mutiplay or playfab at some point to expand the number of playtesters I can support, and possibly go into the steam early access program to make supporting players easier, but unlike the actual coding that is something I have never looked at before so will take some time to get my head around what is required! I will keep updates posted here too, regardless of whether people are actually interested or not!

I have added loot boxes, a shotgun and ride-able horses. Plus you can shoot lots of glass things now. Next up is to add a bow (which means adding the infrastructure for allowing arrows to stick in things and be collected) and then some more play testing. My last test, admittedly with only a couple of players, went really well, so assuming the next one with the new stuff goes ok I will start to open it up to a few more people.

I have added loot boxes
Next up is a battle pass and a cash shop selling XP boosters! :D

Seriously, though - congrats on this - it's a helluva accomplishment making even a small game when you're a one-man-band. Good luck!

Thanks, I really appreciate that! It is good fun and hopefully I can get a few people playing and enjoying it, but I have no delusions of grandeur

I will post here when I am opening it up to a few more players. The early alpha testing will not have anything in the way of gameplay modes, it will be just to test all the logic works, but should still be playable.

Made some improvements to the UI.
