55 Plate Jag S Type SE 2.7D Auto - well, it was!

On the 17th Dec, first day the snow was "bad" here I was travelling up to see the GF and got caught out in the ice. Was doing no more then 20 mph but it was a sharp bend on a decline road, back come out really quicky applied opp lock but front was now sliding as well. Back wheel impacted on a low wall and bent under he car, then front wing impacted. Back bumper was damaged, the 2 wheels on passenger side + all the damage caused by wheel snapping over.

Told them i wanted to use main dealer, they went out and got to 9k of visable damage then stopped. Reccomended write off to my ins people so now just waiting for offer I guess.

Lol the people above are being pretty harsh. Hope you get a good offer from the insurance comp don't always take the first offer they come back with. Do you have any idea what your going to get next?

Umm not really sure. Until the snow i was using my motorbike to commute to work. My last contract just expired so was going to wait to see if next job was in city or if required a commute. If was a perm role with a commute maybe an XF if in city then might not bother with a car for a while and get a better bike. Also depends what they give me for ins.
