Well, I picked it up on Wednesday actually, the replacement to my Rover 211 SE, an Alfa 147 2.0 Twin Spark!

It's got 48k on the clock, leather interior, climate pack, FSH, cambelt changed at correct interval, and it's bl00!

Just come back from a weekend in Manchester with the wife to see funny man Ross Noble, so I thought I'd give her a clean & show you lovely lot. Unfortunately, the light was fading, but you get the idea.

I really like Alfas but hear bad things about reliability

There we all are having a civilised chat and you have to come in and use the R word. :mad:

Massive upgrade, it's nice being able to feel the car accelerating at last! Cruise control is fab too

Very nice car mate!

Can't remember the name of that colour, but it looks great!

Now you need to buy some 17'' Multispoke Alfa rims for it.

Mods decided so far;

Clear side repeaters
Stainless exhaust system / backbox (current box is rusty but will do for the winter :D)

That was a serious question, I don't actually know, just things I've heard

New Alfas are a lot mre reliable than those of the past. Just need to keep up with the service intervals.

Funny you say that your backbox is rusty, they all are!

Oh, almost forgot, cost..... :D

He gave me a grand for my ROver, which is what I paid for it 5 months ago & I gave him a bankers draft for £5k. Quite a nice deal actually

Love those Alfas. Especially those dials that passengers and the old bill cant see :p
You do realise the police don't find out you're speeding by driving up and looking at the speedo through the window? :p
