Well i got it the otherday, and i'm well happy,

Still learning my way around the OS, but i have managed to upgrade the ram from 1gb to 2gb for a cost to me of £25 quid and i still have the old 1gb

Anyhow heres the pics:

Comming from Windows i knew it would take some time to get used to OSX but tbh its not been that hard, i'm still trying to get used to CRL+click to right click and to use the apple key instead of the CRL key.

I personally can't get over the screen quality on these, its amazing, sooo much better than my 19" widescreen.

I havn't installed Windows on boot camp yet. I will look into this over the weekend and then try the x3100 in Games

The mains adaptop and remote had already been removed

I've got a mini DVI -> DVI adptor, but, you have to watch out, it does't support dual link,

So you have to use the 3rd one down:

I was hoping i could get away with a DVI one, then use a DVI - VGA adaptor i have spare from my 8800 but looks like thats a big no

So i'm guna have to order a VGA one too.

nope as the gfx isn't strong enough, its a shame but i'll have to put up with it.

Quick question - if I was to get a mini DVI to DVI cable, could I hook up this up to my HDTV OK (Has DVI input), Would I also need to connect the audio out on my MacBook to the the audio in on the tele?

Also when using front row can you have the screen of the macbook down without it going into sleep or whatever?

Got the RAM for £35 shipped from a competitor, then used google checkout

Got Source on last night, got on to a server,

Playing de_cbble.

20-30fps at native res. Dont' know what will happen on a dust map wtih HDR :S

Edit: That was on the lowest settings poss.

So its playable.
