Before I try and get this past the girlfriend can someone point out the glaring problems in this spec :)

I'm not at all sure the graphics card will fit but any advice here would be awesome as I'm 99% happy.

Why get the 4870 512mb when the 1024mb with a better cooler is the same price ;/

Also get some 8500 ram such as this or the corsair when it comes back into stock.

I would also say to avoid sammy dvd drives as i find them to be noisy & it might be worth getting the lian li bezel so as not to spoil the look of the case.

Thanks for the replies and awesome that it'll fit :D

In answer to the last post - I read some negative points on the cooler fitted to the graphics card and although I am a big sapphire fan I didnt like the 1024Mb card at all. Good point though :)

The sammy drive also got very good reviews in the ocuk shop, though I hadnt taken into account a bezel so off I go to find the best one :D

I assume no one sells drives with an aly bezel as standard yet then?

Whoop :)

for a little bit more you can get a 4890 1GB.. for a little bit less you can get a maxcore GTX260 which will beat a 4870 in most situations.

I'd personally go with the NV card but despite the fact I know its rhubarb I do just seem to prefer NV products.

my question would be why not get a E8200 and clock it - saves some money. Apart from that and getting the 1024mb sapphire 4870 instead (the cooler on that is better than the one you've selected - and I'd put a t-rad on it anyway :D) That looks good to me. Yeh T-Rad would be nice :D

Hehe bearing in mind this is in the SFF section on an matx board I'm resisting the urge to clock it too hard :D

Though going through the spec one more time prompts me to ask should I leave the scythe mini ninja passive cooled or is a fan needed on a E8500 at stock? :)
