i got pulled for "driving irratically" (sideways round a roundabout on a desserted industrial estate

guess i must have been unlucky for them to spot me cause i only did two loops and decided to head off but a big van was coming towards me and started flashing its blues

just got a producer and told that i shouldn't "have fun with my nice little car here" cause if i had an accident i might have to stay there all night before someone found me :confused:

still didn't stop me papping myself for a bit while they took my details, a dangerious driving wouldn't go down too well with my insurance i'm sure.

On an amuzing note i now apparently have a toyota mr2.... didn't notice till i got home

Just a producer, pretty lucky then chap! I have had a few of them, all for doing sweet fa other than looking somewhat dodgy!

nope, just the "you might hurt yourself and not be found" + the producer - was kinda suprised, fully expected a good ticking off

Sounds like you got lucky, got nothing but good advice from the officer. The obvious solution is to have a mate bring his car. But only one of you is allowed to do stunts at a time!

if it was a van they probably weren't traffic cops which in turn means they haven't turned to the dark side of being ridiculously anal about justabout everything.

I got pulled around 1992 by an unmarked car for having some drift exploits around a roundabout..

The cop was really nice about it, had all my docs with me and he just said you may be capable and the car is, but just take it easy in case someone approaches the roundabout too fast and doesnt see you..

Alfa 33 permanent 4 was the car

I was pulled over for the back end coming up, but they just wanted to make sure I was ok and that the car was in good working order. I just told them it was a bit of a dodgy corner... needless to say I actually did do it on purpose, but they didn't need to know that

They were happy that i wasn't a pratt and it was just "one of those things"... I mean sometiems these things happen - I told them also I don't have traction control and sometimes it just happens. They were cool with it.

However doing a couple of laps round a roundabout sideways is not really accidental

don't say that - you've got me worried now, they can't change their mind and escalate things later can they? anyhows i'm going to pop into the station with my docs in a bit - lucky i MOT'd the car on time last week!

I don't know really... I doubt it, I just thought it might have been a possibility?
