All I know is I want to go Conroe and that I want to have an ATi Graphics card. I have £1800 max to spend - The spec would need to include a 17" TFT for gaming (I would also need 500+ gig hdd). What would you guys/girls recommend? Any help is greatly appreciated :)

Went for a 20" since you have the money. Amazing what you can get with 1400 quid! I spent about the same on my X2 4400+ rig in May and that was without a sexy 400 quid monitor!
