Got up just now and got ready for work but luckily a txt message just came in about something else and I realised the day!

Saved me 44 miles of driving!

I've never gone to work on a day off, but I went to school once on teachers training day, was loads of teachers where I walked in to :( all had a good laugh muttering "Typical Tom" :(

:p

Didn't you notice that there weren't any other students walking to school?

When I first moved to America, I made my way through a snow storm and found that the school was closed. I found out that they have a ticker tape display on tv showing which schools in that state were closed. So everytime after that when it snowed I would sit infront of the TV with my fingers crossed :)

I have actually driven half way to work (15 mins) and remembered I am not working and gone back home to bed. :D

So don't worry, even the best of us make mistakes. Enjoy your day off, I am at work.

I think I have done that a few times in my old job - but that was because they shifted the rota round all the time and didn't tell us, would really tick me off specially when they changed it on days when I wasn't in so I wouldn't know!

Just enjoy your new found day off :p :D - it will seem like you have an extra free day off now!
