X2 gone to bro, on for only for a few hours a day, 500 points a week max. My old P4 wont find any ATA HD so thats a P4 2.9 outta the loop

Mac dead for the moment so it wont be putting anything out, or only 100/180PPD if it goes again.

Was a good run at the top of the single crunchers, but ill be back in September with a Conroe rig if I can fix my mac easily.

See you soon :p

Nah, its really weird, power issues, mobo on the way out, PSU on the way out, really dunno :(

If I can get it to start and have a output to rear ports then its fine, it will do anything I ask. Meaning the chipset, ATA controllers, CPU, mem, AGP + PCI is all okay

PPC is the win for everything else :D

Macs being sent back to apple when I find a center without a 3 week waiting time :P all you ******* with ipods filling the centers up :D ;)

Ballistix died in main rig and dad sold other computer so will no doubt get formatted and output now at zero :(

I'll be back with a conroe hopefully :p

I've got a PCI IDE controller that your welcome to a long term loan of if that will get you crunching again (I'd prefer to not give it away, as its been useful in the past putting larger disks on older BIOS computers). It's even got its own BIOS so that should cover most motherboard problems.

Anything to get a fellow cruncher up and running and it should at least last you until you lay down the cash for you proposed Conroe system.

I already offered my old ATA-66 Hiphpoint card that's sat in a box on a shelf at home but he's got plans to sell the old kit off anyway.

Great minds think alike perhaps.

That reminds me, I'll have to have a sort through my parts bin to see if there is anything that can go in the Spare Parts Sticky. I know I've got at least a P4 1.8, along with a couple of AMD motherboards that would probably find a good home at a fellow cruncher's.
