Evening all,

Driving home tonight, I noticed a rather weird sensation through my foot when braking. Feels like a slight knock through my foot each time I brake, if I fully press the pedal, it does it a few times. I had music on at the time so only felt it

When I got home and turned the engine off, I tried it again and this time noticed a noise

You may have to turn it up slightly, but notice the single knock as I press and release the pedal, then at 9 seconds in as I fully push the brake pedal

The car is a Jaguar XF if it helps, does anyone know what this might be? I would have noticed it before so I know it is a new thing. The car is going in on Friday for warranty work, so I can ask them then, but in the mean time I wanted to check incase I'm about to lose my brakes going down the motorway :D

Cheers guys

Cheers for that :) Yeah, I only got it February and it's got a years warranty

I'm guessing the last one is a minor job, but the other two fairly hefty jobs?

Some pedal assemblies can be easy, even some master cylinders can be. Or the opposite can also be true for both, it just depends, and I don't know about your car unfortunately.

If it's got warranty let them deal with it, but I would certainly drive cautiously and not use heavy braking in the mean time.
