Went back to Gothic 2

Decided to get gotihc 2 gold edition as i never played the addon nor did i have the computer at the time to fully enjoy gothic 2... I'm actually enjoying it , the combat is better and everything else makes it a great game. No wonder people got pisssed off with the stuttery pos gothic 3

What i am using though is the Gothic 2 elveon's Texturepatch

Playing gothic 2 just makes me sad that the third installment was so badly handled. Seen they have a standalone expansion for 3 now and I wonder if they have addressed the combat in it.

They did address the combat its better however the game is far worse in terms of bugs...

Bad translations , missing text , quest problems , the huge beard bug , freeze ups the list goes on.

This. Never actually finished the second, will have to fire it up again at some point, amazing game.
