Went cheap, need better. office use

Hi OCUK,

I went with a cheap monitor £80 and its bad, even text looks poor whicu i up the resolution.

I have a budget of around 400-500 at a push, ideall need the best mintor for office use, work, office and the odd game.

27" upwards would be great.

I appreciate anyones recommendations.

It would help to know the model you bought so that we can avoid similar issues. Mainly for office use theres no need to spend 400+. When you say games, what sort of games and what GPU do you have?

I like Dells U2515H and U2715H - excellent quality for the price, calibrated and decent warranty.

Hi, thanks for the reply.

I went with this and i thought it would be ok but i dont like it, ive not calibrated it so maybe thats an option.

wow both look great, the 27" would be best.
