Any suggestions on ideal roasting times and best prep of it ?

Its a 4.5 Kg Fore Rib joint :D

If cooked slowly, you will get a lovely tender roasting joint.

Thats the recipe I was looking at. Should take around 3 hours.

Cost us £40, just got back from holiday and was fed up with eating poor dishes. House account was up due to us been away for a week so thought i'd treat us to a fore rib.

I'll post some picture when its cooked. Any other ideas on how best to prep/cook it would be appreciated

It's the size of a child! How did it taste?

Superb, was cheap compared to online places. Had a nice lining of fat through it to keep it moist. No to much mind. Cooked perfectly for how we like it. Must a slight bit of pink. In the middle.

It worked out at about £4 per meal which isn't bad IMO :)

Yep just perfect I impressed myself. My mate is coming round tomorrow for the haye fight and we have a 3 kg fore rib to cook.

Boneless though:(
