Perhaps not many of you here will know about Prisoner Cell Block H.
It was Australian with rubbish acting. writing and sets that nearly fell over but it was great viewing because of how bad it was.
I've just come across the first episode of this based on 'Top Dog' Bea Smith when she was younger and how she rose to be Top Dog.
I quite enjoyed it.

I saw the thread title and thought "hmmm, it can't be for Prisoner!"

I lived on Prisoner: Cell Block H in my early teens!!!!

Fantastic series so I'm definitely gonna keep an eye on this if only for nostalgia!

Yep, they renewed it for season 4 before 3 even started airing

Dunno what the Aussies think of it but i think it's a great show, although i can barely remember the original.

LOL I remember Prisoner Cell Block H as well.. The Fight scenes were terrible..

Oh and the ending music was always sappy!

I did however notice several actors recently from it including the woman who played Lizzie and the bloke that played a toerag in the original Mad Max film (Nightrider)...
