WEP

Im about to change my router settings to WEP, instead of the double protection one (I forget the name)

My brother is worried that if I change it - we will have to do new settings for it and when it is changed back, redo all the settings for the double protection.

When you change from WPA to WEP and vice versa all your ISP setings stay the same, (did on my Belkin and BeBox) all you need to change is the settings on each PC and re-enter the Passcode/password.

As above, the only thing you need to change is the type of security (WPA to WEP) and the password itself. Then just connect to the wireless like normal on the client systems and change the password on them.
